Welcome to Empire, Michigan
Empire is a small village of about 400 people, located on the Lake Michigan side of the Leelanau Peninsula in northwest lower Michigan. Traverse City is a short drive to the east. Glen Arbor is even closer, to the north.
Empire is surrounded by the Sleeping Bear Dunes National lakeshore, and is a dynamic natural paradise with four very different seasons.
